miracle
It's too easy to turn a blind eye to the light. It's too easy to bow your head and pray.
There are some times when you should try to find your voice.
This is one voice that you must find today.

Are you hoping for a miracle as the ice caps melt away? No use hoping for a miracle.
There's a price we'll have to pay.

How is everyone :D

Isn't that simply adorable?! It's a tigggggger and a piggy :)Align Center
It's hot. I really should make good use of this weather and thus I have decided that I will sit here everyday and simply sweat. It's like a free sauna, right in my house. Maybe I can shed a few pounds before the formal. Yeah, right.

So, formal shopping progress: almost done! I've got my dress, shoes, clutch, Hollywood tape, gel cushions for feet and now I just need to figure out how to do my hair, make up and nails. I was thinking of getting a coat of some sort, but it looks like it shouldn't be too cold on Wednesday night. And if it does, well, I'm sure I won't be too cold anyway :D

I am so looking forward to the formal! Everyone, beware! I will be snatching each and every one of you and taking as many photos as my memory card and battery will allow. I have 2GB! That allows for quite a substantial amount of photos, so yippee!

Not much else to blog about.

Wednesday: went Parramatta again, by myself. Didn't get lost this time :) encountered a bitchy sales lady (her name's Sandra and works for Beauty Mineral, in case you were wondering), who rolled her eyes at me when I said I didn't want to buy the stuff. Gee.

Thursday: tagged along with Soo and Trammy's group to Chatswood. A lady working in David Jones thought we were tourists from China. Damn. Guess we better upgrade on the clothes then. Soo resisted 85DEGC cakes! I'm so proud of her ;)

Friday: went Liverpool with Sussy. Oh so much fun :D bought shoes for $49.95 (I'm rather concerned that they might break - like maybe the heel will snap off or something, like in the movies.) We kept on revisiting the pet shop to look at the baby Siberian Huskies. They are so adorable! The second time we went back we saw four men just standing there watching the huskies. Ahhh, so cute! :D

Yesterday and today I just stayed at home. It felt like being baked in an oven.

Weather cools starting from tomorrow! 21 degrees MAX. Yay!

You give me hope :)

Parramatta?

Parramatta is FAR! Went there today for the first time as far as I can remember - had to train it to Glenfield, then Granville before I could get a train to Parra! *Sigh*

But anyway, was a good day. Hightlight of the day HAD to be lunch! Chicken penne pasta (even if it was from the food court!) and a blueberry marble cheesecake from 85 degrees celcius! LOL I'm such a pig :) Belinda had padthai. It smelt nice!

Bumped into a few people today, haha. And there were so many school kiddies O_O My feet are incredibly sore!

Today, at Sheike:
Me *holds up RED dress*: Do you have this in red?
*Facepalm*

Well, that's formal dress all sorted. Bought two gel cushions for feet as well. May need to invest in some Hollywood tape (better safe than sorry!) Now missing heels, bag and a coat or something to keep me warm. Also need to look at hairstyles and make-up.

*Sigh*

But am looking forward to formal :)

In addition to the blonde moment in Sheike:

Upon arrival at Parramatta, I wandered around for a bit and then Belinda called:

Belinda: Where are you?
Me: I don't know!
Belinda: Are you in Westfields?
Me: I don't know!

And just then I tried curling my hair. It wouldn't curl. So I tried again. It still wouldn't curl. Reason being?

I hadn't turned it on yet =="

I blame all this on the HSC. It fried my brain :(

WE ARE SO COOL.

HBD Rebekah!

Happy 18th Rebekah! :)

So today, went Broadway Hoyts cinemas and saw The Time Traveler's Wife with Rebekah deary. Rather bad movie. Nothing happens. But Eric Bana was quite yumtastic ;)
Took a good look at UTS as I was walking by - trying to get accustomed to it, you see, seeing that chances are I will end up going there. *sigh*
Went Wako for lunch and there were actually people there today! :O food was delicious :D didn't manage to finish everything though.
Then we went CEO Karaoke! I HAVEN'T BEEN K IN SO LONG. Happy happy :) spent my last $10 on K. Money well spent (Y).

zzzzzzzzzzz formal in 10 days. Guess who has not bought a thing? :)

Bored.

Blogger hardly ever notifies me when you guys update anymore :( or I get them a month later (like for Adam's and Hanson's blogs, LOL).

Anyway guys. I am bored. Like, really bored.

Pre-HSC: *wakes up in morning and thinks, "I'M GOING TO STUDY TODAY."*
Post-HSC: *wakes up in morning and wonders, "WHAT THE HELL AM I GOING TO DO TODAY?"*

I'm starting to think studying > having nothing to do :( It's like the opposite of, "So much to do, so little time." D:

Facebook does not seem appealing anymore. But it has Icy Tower now! It's all laggy though :( so I downloaded it. OMFG THEY PUT WINDOWS IN THE TOWER. It's so freaking distracting :( *Goes and plays for a bit anyway*

Oh, also, sleeping pattern corrected. Sleeping at 10 now and waking around 6-7. As opposed to HSC, sleeping at 6am and waking at 12 noon =="

Changed my Uni preferences, btw :)

So, anyone wanna do something next week? LET ME KNOOWW.

Lala, that's all.

City ~

The time is 5.21 PM. Haha.
Liking the weather :)
Case 39 was f-f-freaky! Except the ending was a letdown :( I think I might have nightmares tonight anyway, though. Hmm.
Did you know that Wako is temporarily closed on Mondays? I didn't, until I got there =="
So, went to Ajisen for lunch instead. Had a salmon teriyaki bento, with iced lemon tea and miso soup. And water and strawberry milk (from some promotion thing) LOL.
I have eyebags! Ahh :(
Saw a random chick doing her business in public, AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT with a lot of people standing around. WTF?
Swarovski-decorated Christmas tree in QVB is pretty! But so sparkly that it hurt my eyes @@
Post-it notes + hangman = :)
Managed to bump into people from both my old high schools @@
Now I'm sleepy. I think I will take a nap :)

HSC OVER.

YES YES YES YES!!
I'M FINISHED :)

Wednesday, November 04, 2009, 11:13 AM
Very nearly finished :)

Miranda Kerr is so pretty :)

Just wanted to say I am SUPER DUPER excited for finishing HSC tomorrow! Yay! *Dances around*

Currently slaving away trying to cram the entire Economics course in one day. Well, more like half a day, I still have to do Senior Science. OMG. But that's okay, will manage. *Trying to be optimistic here*

After HSC I will completely forget about ATAR, Uni, for a while and then when December 17th draws nearer I will begin to stress like crazy over my bad ATAR :(

Okay back to Eco.
